portfolio Biotron Healthcare clocked an annual sales revenue of Rs 18.50 crore in fiscal 2009-10. In FY 2008-10, the company clocked revenue sales of Rs 13.50 crore. It has built a portfolio of products in the areas of drug discovery, liquid handling, genomics and molecular diagnostics. Its product range includes microplate multi-detection systems, liquid handling systems, rapid kit and biosensors manufacturing systems, compound storage and management systems, gene expression kits, PCR and qPCR systems and kits, kits for GPCR, kinases, inflammation and CNS, and automated nucleic acid extraction systems. The company has marketing alliances with BMG Lab Tech, Cepheid, PSS, CIS BIO, Sacace, Quanta, Panomics, Biodot, Ipsogen, and Matrical. The life sciences group of Techcomp India in first two quarters of the year 2010 has given an impressive figures of Rs 15 crore and the company is targeting 30 percent growth during the year 2010. Despite starting its operation one year ago, the company was successful and it emerges as a leader for Hitachi brands of centrifuge by record order of Rs 9.3 crore ($2 mn) for 90 blood bank centrifuges across India for NACO project.
