An increasing need felt from the Indian Oncologists community about getting more cancer clinical trials to India

Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, in Mumbai, has collaborated with Oncoshot India in an effort to increase awareness, transparency and accessibility for cancer clinical trials to the entire Indian cancer ecosystem. This collaboration will work towards the empowerment of the Indian cancer patient population with its unique offering of clinical trial matching services. Oncoshot India is the first subsidiary organidation of the parent company headquartered in Singapore.

There are an estimated 2 million new cancer cases in India every year. Unfortunately, the large majority of the cancer patient population in India are unaware of the availability of cancer clinical trials and their benefits.

As a result, Indian cancer patients continue to miss out on the benefits of novel cancer treatment compounds made available through participation in recent clinical studies. This is a significant loss for cancer patients, especially considering the disease's deadly nature and the limited number of treatment choices available on the market today.

There is an increasing need felt from the Indian Oncologists community about getting more cancer clinical trials to India. This also includes the need for increasing awareness and accessibility to cancer clinical trials. Oncoshot is developing oncology clinical studies that will use the most modern oncology chemicals for the benefit of cancer patients, carers, and families. Some of India's best oncologists, including Dr Suresh Advani, Dr Boman Dhabhar, Dr Tapan Saikia, and Dr Ritu Jain, will head oncology clinical treatment at Jaslok Hospital.
