Kauvery Group of Hospitals, South India’s emerging healthcare service provider, has recently announced the soft launch of its first hospital in Bengaluru. The group has acquired 100% stake in Ramakrishna Smart Hospital, Electronic City, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The hospital, presently a 150-bed facility with OP and IP blocks, will become 300 beds with a state of the art comprehensive tertiary care multi-specialty facility within a span of 24 months. The group has another healthcare facility in Hosur which will add to its strength in becoming a significant player in the Bengaluru region.
The Kauvery group is focused on a major expansion plan from 1200 to a 3000-bed hospital group across South India in 3- 4 years. Kauvery as a group is committed to core philosophy which is Patient first, clinical excellence, providing affordable and quality healthcare with the highest standards.
The Kauvery group was at the forefront of providing effective and latest treatment methodologies besides creating continuous awareness programs across all locations through various digital initiatives. The group proactively started Kauvery COVID care centres by converting hotels in different regions.
Recently the group has joined hands with the Government of Tamil Nadu and started a non- profit joint initiative with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) called ‘The Apex Skill Development Corporation in Healthcare. The core aim of this venture is to up-skill, reskill and cross skill around 35000 healthcare workers across the state in the next couple of years. This is the first of its kind public-private partnership between the Government and a private healthcare provider in Tamil Nadu.
