A DNA profiling unit in J&K

The forensic division will play host to the two new divisions

The Jammu and Kashmir government will set up two new divisions in the Forensic Science Laboratory including a DNA profiling unit.

"The divisions include DNA profiling and Laboratory facilities and computer-cyber-voice identification and video authentication technology," said Mr H K Lohia, IG, technical services. The state government has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputed and experienced companies and Consortium for setting up these two new divisions. Interested organizations can submit EOI for each division or both the divisions.
