Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in association with National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR) will be organising workshop on Basic Molecular Biology Techniques relevant to Cancer Research from January 28 to 31, 2020 at NICPR (ICMR), Noida.
The workshop is funded by Department of Health Resource (DHR) with no course fee and will offer hands on training to participants.
The workshop has various themes like Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) including topics like Allele Specific PCR, Nested/Hemi-nested PCR, PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP), Real Time PCR, Methylation specific PCR along with Human Papillomavirus (HPV) detection which includes PCR method and Hybrid Capture II (HC II).
Other topics include Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoblotting and tissue culture related techniques.
