In 2006 January, we presented a list of companies that we felt would make
some significant announcements in 2006. We had not listed big and
well-established companies like Biocon, Bharat Biotech, Serum Institute of
India, Shantha Biotech, and Vimta Labs. These have all made headlines in 2006.
The companies that we listed were those that would make a difference in the next
level of India's biotech growth. Here, we present to you what has happened at
