IKMC 2014: Dr Chattopadhyay takes over as chairman

In his welcome speech on the day one of the IKMC 2014, Mr N Vaghul, the (former) chairman of IKP,  announced that Dr Deepanwita Chattopadhyay has been appointed the chairman of the IKP with immediate effect.

Mr Vaghul, who has been heading the knowledge park since its inception 15 years ago, said that the decision has been taken keeping in mind their idea of inducting young blood to the management. He will continue to be a part of the Advisory board.

Commencing the two-day conference, Mr Vaghul further mentioned that he was extremely happy to see the progress made by the knowledge park and believed it was in capable hands.

Dr Chattopadhyay, who was the MD and CEO of the park will continue to hold both the positions.
