Jubilant gets awarded at a gala awards show held in Chennai
The presidential address at the awards ceremony was delivered by the governor of Tamil Nadu, Mr K Rosaiah, who also gave away the awards. The main theme of the summit was 'Business Excellence thru' Board Room Best Practices'.
The prestigious award was presented to the Jubilant Gajraula team in the 'Chemicals and Pharmaceutical category' for showcasing a consistent journey of business excellence with a systematic approach for close to a decade. The selection was made from a total of 149 applications, of which 7 were declared winners and were awarded by the esteemed Jury under the Chairmanship of Justice (Dr) Arijit Pasayat, former Judge, Supreme Court of India and former chairman, Competition Appellate Tribunal of India and Authority for Advance Ruling (Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax).
The awardees were honored in the presence of a distinguished gathering of business leaders, jurists, academics, environmentalists, economists, legislators, and policy makers.The summit was attended by dignitaries like former CVC Mr N Vittal, former CEC Mr T S Krishna Murthy, former senior officials of the Accountant General's office and speakers from Consulate offices representing countries such as Israel and Argentina and representatives from Singapore, UAE, Dubai, and France.
Jubilant has been recognized with several awards and recognitions, which bear testimony to its commitment towards operational excellence, innovation, corporate governance, and social responsibility.
