Speakers at the international-buyer sellers meet held at the 6th WAC.
Held in four sessions that spanned for two days, the deliberations concluded on November 08, 2014 evening, triggering business potentials that would convert into crores of rupees.
Organised by the ministry of commerce and industry at the WAC venue in Pragati Maidan, the meet was attended by as many as 150 Indian companies, besides the country's top drug regulatory officials.
"From abroad, there were 56 delegates from 20 countries," said a source with Pharmexcil (Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India), which functions under the Union Commerce and Industry Ministry.
The foreign firms included those from Europe (Sweden, Ukraine, Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan), USA, Canada, Africa (Rwanda, Mauritius), and Bolivia, besides Asian countries such as Iraq, Bahrain, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.
The Indian firms at the meet featured ARI Healthcare, Unilabs, TanMed, Guru, Ayushakti, BacFo, KDN, Maharishi, Kudos, Vashishta, Centurion and Perennial Pharma, among a host of others.
