Clariant Chemicals relocates its Masterbatches plant

Commenting on the relocation of the Masterbatches plant to Maharashtra, Dr Deepak Parikh, vice-chairman & managing director, Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited said, "This move will help Clariant in India further improve its market presence and strengthen its position in India. The new plant will be operationally effective from December 2013."

Mr Sandeep Puri, head of Masterbatches business in India added, "The rationale behind this move is to primarily expand production capacities and build a fully refurbished and modern production unit under one roof.

"The new facility will be instrumental in Clariant's efforts to introduce latest technologies and systems to its customers at an even quicker pace than before, and generate value with cutting-edge innovations and highly customized local solutions through global best practices."
