Thyrocare has launched its first Regional Processing Lab (RPL) in Nagpur which is the 17th lab in India on the occasion of World Thyroid Day. The centre is located at Mytri Willows, Sir Bezonji Mehta Road, Nagpur. The RPL will serve Nagpur and the surrounding areas in the Vidarbha region.
The lab with an area of 3400 sq feet has advanced 24/7 unidirectional sample processing systems and automatic treatment plants with a capacity of processing 3000 samples in a day.
Sachin Salvi, CFO, Thyrocare Technologies, "The new lab will provide a comprehensive range of diagnostics services to patients, doctors and hospitals in Nagpur and the Vidarbha region. The new RPL will augment our existing network of a Centralised Processing Laboratory in Navi Mumbai for complex tests, three zonal processing laboratories in Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata for advanced tests and 16 Regional Processing Laboratories pan India, for other routine tests.”
