Waters Corporation has received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.
Dr Udit Batra, Waters President and CEO, Waters said, "We will continue to challenge ourselves as an organisation and expand our efforts to support and advocate for inclusivity within and beyond the walls of our labs and offices and out into our communities around the world.”
The company recently hired a new head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to continue helping Waters reach its ultimate goal of being representative of the society we live in. In 2022, Waters will continue to build on its internal and external programmes and initiatives that have contributed to the recognition of Waters as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality. These programmes include growing a Supplier Diversity Program that incorporates more diverse suppliers such as minority and veteran-owned businesses in all corporate contracting and procurement initiatives and diversifying employee recruitment initiatives.
