Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd., one of India’s largest Contract Drug Research and Manufacturing Organizations (CRAMS), has won the prestigious Business Leadership Award at the National CSR Summit and Awards by the Indian Achievers Forum.
The company offers exclusive services in the field of commercial drug development from the point of formulation till its market launch. The organization has 13 advanced manufacturing units which collectively are producing 12 per cent of the nation’s drug supply.
Earlier this year, Akums was awarded the ‘Indian Pharma Leader Award’ by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India. Moreover, the organization has been featured in 2016 issue of Next Fortune 500.
The National CSR Summit and Awards is organized regularly by the Indian Achievers Forum. The purpose of this award ceremony is to bring people from diverse fields together and give them a common platform to share their knowledge, experiences, ideas and thoughts as well as to network. This year’s award ceremony was held at the SILVER OAK, Habitat World, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
