Mumbai-based Entod Pharmaceuticals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy (VESCOP), Chembur, Mumbai, to establish a long-term academic-industry partnership aimed at advancing pharmaceutical innovation, research, and skill development.
This strategic collaboration is designed to strengthen ties between academia and industry, enabling joint efforts in the development of novel pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic technologies, while simultaneously nurturing the next generation of scientific talent.
According to the Pharmacy Council of India, there are nearly 4,900 colleges across the country offering pharmaceutical education. Thousands of students enrolled in these institutions are actively engaged in research, thesis writing, and exploring innovative solutions in the field of medicine. However, their efforts often go unrecognised, with valuable ideas and breakthroughs failing to reach the mainstream industry or policy platforms.
Recognising this critical gap, Entod Pharmaceuticals has taken a significant step to support and nurture young talent in the pharmaceutical sector. Through this new collaboration, the company aims to provide a structured platform for student-led innovations to gain visibility and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
By fostering a collaborative ecosystem, Entod Pharmaceuticals and VESCOP aim to set a benchmark for impactful partnerships in the pharmaceutical sector, driving innovation, enhancing skill development, and ultimately contributing to a healthier and more self-reliant India.
