UPES, Rungta International Skills University and Vivekananda Global University join Virohan’s network of 20+ higher education institutions
Virohan has announced new collaborations with three universities: UPES (Dehradun), Rungta International Skills University (Bhilai), and Vivekananda Global University (Jaipur).
The additions strengthen Virohan’s growing network of 20+ university and institutional collaborations across India, including leading NAAC-accredited institutions.
The focus is on UG degree programmes in Allied & Healthcare disciplines, including Physiotherapy, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, and Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology; UG Degree programmes in other healthcare domains like Cosmetic Science, and Healthcare Management & Artificial Intelligence; MBA programme, in Healthcare Management; and short-term certificate programs in Geriatric Care, Phlebotomy, Dispensing Optics, Patient Relations, and more for the 2026–27 academic year.
These programmes combine industry-aligned skill training, VR-led practical learning with internship opportunities through Virohan’s network of leading healthcare partners across India – including Apollo Hospitals, Medanta, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Lenskart, Eye-Q Hospitals, and Orange Health Labs to equip students with the hands-on skills and experience needed to succeed in healthcare careers.
The expansion comes at a time of acute demand for healthcare talent. India needs more than 64 lakh for allied and healthcare professionals. Recognising this national priority, the Union Budget 2026 allocated Rs 1,000 crore towards the education and training of allied and healthcare professionals.
