Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, a New Delhi-based Contract Development and Manufacturing organisation (CDMO) has announced a nation-progressive collaboration with SGT University, Gurugram. This collaboration will provide a platform where students can have experiential learning, hands-on training and experience live research projects of the pharmaceutical industry and most importantly, access to placement opportunities at Akums.

The MoU was signed between Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals and SGT University Gurugram recently in the presence of Arushi Jain, Director, Akums and SGT University Leadership Team led by Dr Atul Nasa.

The company intends to foster a bridge between academia and industry by providing them access to the required resources and guidance. The efforts are in the direction of making the next-generation of pharmacy students future-ready to contribute to the growth of our country. R&D projects assigned to students will harbor live research experience and help them attain a detailed understanding of the ongoing trends of the pharmaceutical industry.
