Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals has appointed Gaurav Anand, a hospital management professional with over 18 years of experience, as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Anand will further strengthen the efforts of the company as it aims at providing the best healthcare facilities across the country. He will be responsible for steering the company’s management operations with the help of technology.
Anand has experience in leading strategic and operational initiatives in established multinational companies. He has been instrumental in handling branding, hospital launch plan, consultant acquisition, marketing plan, tie-ups and associations. He is skillful in monitoring hospital processes and optimising operational efficiency. Anand has worked in several capacities including senior management and leadership positions during which he has had an illustrious and eventful career.
Anand started his career as a Management Trainee in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He is an alumnus of the prestigious International Management Institute, New Delhi.
