On June 1, 2018, Jawed Zia had joined Abbott as Vice President, Established Pharmaceuticals, India. In this role, Jawed was leading Abbott’s India pharmaceutical business, which offers quality, trusted medicines to help people get and stay healthy.
But in less than two years, Jawed Zia has announced his exit from Abbott India.
Venu Ambati, who is currently serving as the Managing Director (MD) of Abbott India, will be stepping up into Zia's position, from March 1, 2020.
