Mohali-based Bioage started in 2004 with trading in biotech-related instruments for R&D and institutes in the Indian market. It has been recognized in the market for its ability to manufacture, supply, trade, import and export a diverse range of biotech laboratory instruments.

The range of products being offered includes water purification systems, bio fermenters and laboratory incubators. Later in the year 2010, the company started manufacturing thesame lab instruments and pilot-cum-industrial scale, and started exporting to Nepal and nearby countries. The company is backed by a sound and sophisticated infrastructure, which sprawls over a large area and equipped with all the requisite facilities. The entire unit is segregated into varied departments such as manufacturing, quality testing, administration, R&D and many others. By the end of this financial year, the company expects to have the technology transfer for enzymes production for the industry and academia clients from Indian Institute of Scientific Education and Research (IISER) at Mohali Campus.

Bioage with DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) has jointly developed Normobaric Incubation Chamber for egg hatching at high altitude areas for the Indian army establishments, to enable them to hatch eggs on their own.
