Elsevier acquires creator of 3D anatomy technology

This acquisition brings a world class 3D technology platform to complement these brands and will further strengthen Elsevier's health education offerings, improving learning outcomes for health students and professionals

Elsevier, a global information analytics business specializing in science and health, and part of RELX, has acquired 3D4Medical, the global anatomy education company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. 3D4Medical created Complete Anatomy, the world's most advanced 3D anatomy platform, revolutionizing how students, educators, health professionals and patients understand and interact with anatomy. With outstanding technology and design that pushes the boundaries of how people learn using advanced 3D visualization tools, Complete Anatomy has garnered more than a million registered users at more than 300 of the world's top universities.
