Health Ministry launches integrated training programme to strengthen frontline healthcare services

Reinforcing commitment to comprehensive primary healthcare care and strengthening capacities of frontline healthcare providers, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed Integrated Primary Health Care Teams during the 10th National Health Summit on "Innovation and Inclusivity: Best Practices Shaping India's Health Future" and launched the training programme.

This integrated training marks a decisive shift for primary healthcare teams from capacity development to a single, structured, and competency-based framework. This will enable the country's frontline healthcare workers to become confident providers providing comprehensive, people-centric care to the last mile.

By integrating various programme-based trainings into a single, structured, and competency-oriented framework, this initiative simplifies the learning process while enhancing the capabilities of frontline healthcare providers.

This enables them to provide comprehensive care, from prevention and early detection to treatment and follow-up care, ensuring that people receive the right care at the right time, close to their homes. Digital platforms like iGOT Karmayogi will future-ready the continuous learning process by making it workforce-friendly, in line with the country's technological advancements.
