Karnataka gearing up for 21st edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit

The Department of IT, BT, Government of Karnataka is organizing the 21st edition of its flagship event Bengaluru Tech Summit from 29th November to 1st December, 2018 at Bengaluru Palace with the focal theme Innovation & Impact.

The event spectrum would include multi-track conference, B2B Expo, Thought Leaders Conclave, IT Export Awards, Bio Excellence Awards, Bengaluru Tech Exchange, Show Stoppers- Product Launch and Global Innovation Zone, Startups, and posters.

The conference will have over 250 experts addressing 3500+ delegates and 300+ exhibitors showcasing their services, products and technologies to 11000+ visitors.

At the recently held curtain raiser press conference for the 21st edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit, K J George, Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industries, IT & BT, S&T, Govt. of Karnataka said, “Karnataka is the torch bearer for IT & BT industry. The government is committed to the startup ecosystem to drive Karnataka and the nation’s growth. This event will provide an excellent opportunity to both industry and stakeholders to connect with the best minds to explore how to fuel their business growth”.

Gaurav Gupta, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Commerce & Industries, Dept of IT, BT, S&T stated, “Bengaluru Tech Summit has been instrumental in promoting the IT industry for more than two decades. This year’s event is primarily focused on three agendas- Emerging Technologies, Startups and Global Alliances”.

Before going ahead with the curtain raiser press conference, Karnataka Government officials got together with the industry experts over breakfast to discuss the key agendas and policies in store for the upcoming event.

The breakfast meet was directly followed by a detailed meeting with the officials from different countries who showed keen interest in getting associated with the Bengaluru Tech Summit.

The upcoming Bengaluru Tech Summit is all set to offer fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs, developers, students and others to mingle, reach out and discover the Indian Tech innovation ecosystem.
