GOQii announced an investment of $10 million in the UK with a modality partnership. With this new venture, GOQii will be also looking for opportunities for investment in the Caribbean region to enable local communities to make a shift towards a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
GOQii’s centre of engagement will engage the youth of the region with a focus on health & fitness and will be anchored in a location that has a vibrant ecosystem for nurturing innovation, dynamic leadership and innovative entrepreneurial youth.
Vishal Gondal, Founder and CEO of GOQii, commented, “We thank the Commonwealth Secretariat and in particular the Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland for their support and the useable youth-focussed investment templates in the region through the Cambridge Collaboration for attracting sustainable development in Small Islands and Developing States (SIDS), which will underpin our effort in the region.”
