A state-of-the-art Technology Incubator Centre (TIC) with an incubation space of 1,00,000 sq ft has been set up in Guwahati Biotech Park with a key objective of nurturing startup companies and entrepreneurs working in the areas of healthcare, agriculture, food/nutrition, bio-energy, industrial & environmental biotechnology, etc.

TIC nurtures innovation by providing modular lab space, shared common equipment, funding, mentorship, legal & IPR Support and facilitating networking.

Guwahati Biotech Park in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT-G) is organizing the “ASSAM BIOTECH CONCLAVE (ABC) 2022” on 21-22 May 2022.  It is envisaged that this conclave will offer a unique opportunity to understand the possibilities of industry oriented research and motivate many to start their entrepreneurial ventures in biotechnology and related areas in the North Eastern region of India.

This includes the participation of many eminent personalities from the Industry, Academia, Entrepreneurs, Startups and Innovators etc. ABC 2022 is looking forward to host more than 3000 participants. Numerous activities have been planned during the conclave including an Expo for Product display, Ideation workshops for school children, Young Entrepreneur Award, Flagging off ‘Start-up Yatra’ across Assam etc.

The Inaugural ceremony of Technology Incubation Centre and Assam Biotech Conclave 2022 will be held on 20th May 2022 at 5 PM.
