Biopharma division reports Rs 246 crore in FY26 revenue, with branded nutraceuticals as a key growth driver

Ennature Bio Pharma Limited listed on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on 4™ of November 2026, bringing its integrated natural ingredients business to the listed market.

The company enters this phase with three complementary businesses spanning plantbased pharmaceutical ingredients, biopolymers and nutraceuticals, and a growth strategy centred on expanding its portfolio of science-backed botanical ingredients.

The biopharma division of Noida-based India Glycols Limited (IGL) reported net revenue of Rs 246 crore, EBITDA of Rs 29 crore and a gross margin of 40.1% in FY26. Its business rests on an established plant-based active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) portfolio and a diversified, biopolymer operation, which together provide the foundation for its expansion into branded nutraceuticals. The latter is the company's primary growth driver, with plans to develop higher-value ingredients supported by scientific research, proprietary technologies and clinical validation.

The API business accounts for 67% of sales and includes thiocolchicoside, colchicine, nicotine and vinpocetine. Built over more than 15 years, the business serves over 150 active customers across more than 26 countries, with exports contributing 54% of segment revenues in FY26. Ennature plans to introduce one new AP! annually, expand its presence in regulated markets and strengthen its nicotine replacement therapy portfolio.

Alongside this established business, Ennature's biopolymer operations provide exposure to a wider range of end markets. The segment, which contributes 16% of sales, focuses on guar gum and speciality gums used across oil and gas, food and beverages, personal care, paints, textiles and supplements. Exports account for 69% of its FY26 revenues, with customers across 23 countries. The company's priorities include developing specialised derivatives, expanding dietary fibre applications and increasing the contribution of higher-value products.

These businesses provide the platform for Ennature's next phase of growth in nutraceuticals, which currently account for 17% of sales. The company is moving beyond standardised botanical extracts towards branded ingredients designed for specific market segments, including women's health, bone and joint health, eye health and metabolic health.

Its portfolio includes five flagship brands: Aspargize, Gingeren, Maxicuma®, Xanthogreen® and Berbisol™. The segment serves more than 90 active customers across over 19 countries, with exports contributing 83% of revenues in FY26. Ennature plans to expand its branded portfolio to six to eight ingredients, strengthen distribution across the US, Europe and Asia, and deepen relationships with leading nutraceutical customers.

The company's approach to this expansion centres on differentiating its ingredients through technology and scientific evidence. Its proprietary platforms - LIMAN™ and SCEMOD™ focus on improving solubility and bio-absorption of ingredients. Ennature reports nine patents filed, five granted patents and four patents under review, alongside a research programme comprising 20 clinical trials. It is also strengthening its international reach, with a local US office supporting customer coverage and stocking capabilities.
