C-CAMP in collaboration with Ashraya Hastha Trust selects 11 biology driven startups to accelerate climate action

With an offer for 11 selected startups a funding support of up to Rs 50 lakh

Bengaluru-based Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), in collaboration with Ashraya Hastha Trust, has selected the first cohort of 11 startups from its India-wide “Call for Climate Solutions 2026,” that was launched earlier this year.

This announcement took place on 29th September, 2026 during a half-day convening at C-CAMP on Advancing Sustainability and Climate Action.

The “Call for Climate Solutions 2026,” was launched by the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Sustainability and Climate Action at C-CAMP in early 2026 with a mission to identify and nurture impactful deep-tech innovations at the interface of biology and climate science, that drive climate action and sustainability in India and the world.

The CoE will offer these 11 selected startups a funding support of up to Rs 50 lakh, access to high-end incubation labs, scientific and business mentorship, assistance on scale-up for market deployment and networking opportunities with key stakeholders from the industry.

These selected startups include Genepath Diagnostics India, Prodancy, AeroDel Technology Innovations, Intello Labs, String Bio, Tealaa Innovations, Ossus Biorenewables, BPC Bio Bioproducts (Amylo), Earthkind Foods Biotech, Intrinsic Foundries (IIOT Innovation), and Bisket Labs.

These startups have developed solutions that are focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprints, enabling climate-resilient healthcare, and advancing climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture.

During the event, C-CAMP in partnership with Ashraya Hastha also announced the next round of call for application for 2026 from climate innovators for on-field validation of climate solutions. This call seeks breakthrough field-ready solutions working at the intersection of climate change with environment, health, agriculture, & sustainability. On offer will be support for joint projects for on-field tech validation of up to Rs 50 lakh, curated government and industry connects for future scale up and partnerships and strong ecosystem access including pilot facilitations.
