Belgium-based Quantoom (operating as Phoenix Biosciences SA) and Hyderabad-based Nucelion Therapeutics have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore a preferred RNA contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) partnership in India.
Under the MoU, Nucelion would operate Quantoom’s N-Force platform technologies to provide both research-grade and GMP-grade RNA manufacturing services to clients across human therapeutics and animal health.
The collaboration reflects a shared view of the significant and growing opportunity for RNA-based products in India and the broader Asia-Pacific region — spanning mRNA therapeutics, RNA-based vaccines, oligonucleotide therapies, and veterinary applications.
Quantoom’s N-Force toolbox supports the rapid development of (sa)mRNA as a drug modality — from design through RNA production and encapsulation — via its Ntensify® equipment and consumables, reagent pre-mixes, and Ncapsulate® QCX delivery technology.
Through the intended partnership, Nucelion aims to establish and scale RNA CDMO capability at its facilities in India, supported by Quantoom technology transfer and technical expertise.
