MedGenome makes majority investment in Mumbai's Siddhi Diagnostics & Research Centre

Bengaluru-based MedGenome, India’s leading genomics-driven diagnostics and research services company, has joined hands with Siddhi Diagnostics & Research Centre (SDRC), a well-established diagnostic imaging service provider with a strong presence across Mumbai’s extended western suburbs.

This marks a strategic step in strengthening MedGenome’s presence in the region, while expanding access to advanced, integrated diagnostics across suburban belts.

Founded in 1995, SDRC is led by Dr Ajit Pungavkar and Dr Sona Pungavkar. Under their leadership, SDRC has built over 30 years of clinical expertise in diagnostic imaging and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, Sonography, Mammography, Interventions, Cardiac investigations, HSG, OPG, and BMD. The network operates five centres across Nalasopara (East and West), Vasai, Virar and Thane supported by advanced infrastructure comprising four MRI and five CT systems.

Positioned as a full-spectrum imaging provider, SDRC offers strong accessibility across the Naigaon–Palghar and Thane belt, serving a wide network of hospitals and clinicians in the region.

SDRC caters to a large and diverse patient base through a mix of walk-in services, home collections, and partnerships with hospitals and laboratories, in an all-under-one-roof concept. Its strong reporting and analytical expertise have helped build long-standing clinical trust, particularly in regions beyond Greater Mumbai where access to high-quality diagnostic infrastructure has traditionally been limited.
