Government of Punjab launches Cancer Care Pathways

The Government of Punjab has launched the Punjab Cancer Care Pathways — a comprehensive initiative introducing Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) and streamlined care models for breast, cervical, oral, lung, and liver cancers.

The pathways were developed and authored by the expert team from AIIMS Delhi, in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Punjab.

The official launch was held in the presence of the Health Minister of Punjab, key contributors, and representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), ICMR, PGIMER, and other national institutions.

This is more than a document — it is a mission to ensure timely detection, evidence-based treatment, and survivor-focused care for the people of Punjab.
