Bioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure
The Fourth International Conference on Bioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure (BGRS'2004), a biennial event, will be held from July 25-30 2004 in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk, Russia. Structural Approaches to Sequence Evolution
The workshop on "Structural approaches to sequence evolution: Molecules, Networks, Populations" is being held from July 5-10 2004 at Dresden, Germany. It aims to bring together people from different scientific communities working in the three areas of theoretical and empirical studies of population dynamics, computational and experimental studies of the stability and properties of biological macromolecules and statistical analysis of sequences databases. The possible synergies between these experimental, theoretical, computational, and statistical analysis approaches are anticipated to improve the understanding of the processes and pathways of molecular evolution.
