ICAR scientists win DBT's annual product commercialization award

Dr Vineet Kumar & Dr Anita Rani, both Principal Scientists at ICAR-Directorate of Soybean Research, Indore receiving award from Dr Harsh Vardhan.

The award constituted by the department of biotechnology (DBT) on behalf of ministry of science and technology, government of India was bestowed recently to two agriculture scientists. The "Biotech Product And Process Development And Commercialization Award 2015" was jointly given to Dr Vineet Kumar & Dr Anita Rani, both Principal Scientists at ICAR-Directorate of Soybean Research, Indore in recognition of their pioneering work on development of specialty soybean seeds to meet the challenges of soya food and edible oil sector.

The awards were confered by the union science and technology minister, Dr Harsh Vardhan on Technology Day Function celebrated on May 11, 2015 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
