Innovation-driven research

In this issue, the CSO Series brings the profiles of three scientists who are doing innovative work in their respective fields. While one of them is working on immunology, the other two are working on drug discovery and platform technology spaces.

Dr Dinakar M Salunke, executive director of Regional Centre for Biotechnology, has made outstanding contributions to the understanding of generation of antibody diversity and in elucidating the various facets of molecular mimicry. Dr Ashok Kumar, president-Centre for Research and Development, IPCA Labs, is leaving no stone unturned to exploit the biotech and drug discovery space and steer the company towards achieving product patents.

Dr Ganesh Sambasivam has given Anthem Biosciences the tag of contract innovation service provider by focusing on innovative platform technologies to better serve the clients.
