American medtech firm Zimmer Biomet opens GCC in Bengaluru

US-based Zimmer Biomet has opened its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru. This GCC will serve as a high-velocity hub for digital transformation, integrating the company’s nearly century-long heritage in musculoskeletal health with India’s digital engineering ecosystem.

The GCC will focus on developing the next generation of patient-monitoring software; streamlining procurement and supply chain for the APAC market; and accelerating the development of AI-driven surgical platforms.
