KITES Senior Care, a pure play geriatric care service provider founded by Rajagopal G, Dr A S Arvind, and Dr Reema Nadig, has announced the closure of Pre Series A funding of $2 million from Dr Ranjan Pai’s family office.
The Bengaluru-based startup has carved a niche for itself in the elder care sector by focusing on providing a range of “Out of Hospital care” services, covering pre and post-hospitalisation rehabilitation care, palliative care, and dementia care. KITES will use the funds to scale operations in Bengaluru, expand to Hyderabad and Chennai, and in developing a technology platform providing for health monitoring & active ageing of seniors.
KITES, the brand of Lifebridge Senior Care, operates and manages two care facilities with 70 beds in Bengaluru, which are running at their capacity and manage care for many elders at home. Since 2016, KITES has provided care to over 4,500 seniors in Bengaluru and has gradually established the trust & reputation for quality and reliable services.
