On March 23, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has given green signal for conducting COVID- 19 tests to 16 private labs in seven states.  

A total of 20,864 samples from 19,974 individuals have been tested for SARS-CoV2 as on March 24, 2020 10:00 AM IST. A total of 482 individuals have been confirmed positive among suspected cases and contacts of known positive cases.
