C-CAMP, BGC to conduct training course on genomics & bioinformatics

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) and Bengaluru Genomics Center (BGC) will be jointly organising the 3rd online training course on 'Introduction to Genomics and Bioinformatics: An Online Primer on Transcriptome/RNA Sequence Data Analysis'. The three-day course is scheduled from November 10-12, 2021.

The course will have a plenary lecture on Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Technologies and Applications, Illumina- based NGS Library preparation, sequencing using Next-Generation Sequencing Platform, basics of bioinformatics and NGS Data Formats, transcriptome data assembly, annotation of transcripts and differential gene expression analysis.
