Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr Mansukh Mandaviya delivered the inaugural address at the National Ayush Mission Conclave organised by Ministry of Ayush, on 18 May. The event witnessed the launch of Information and Communication Technology initiatives namely AHMIS (Ayush Health Management Information System) and eLMS (Education Learning Management System) by Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Health Minister and Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Ayush Minister in the presence of Dr Munjpara Mahendrabhai, Minister of State, Ayush.
The two days conclave (18th and 19th May 2023) will pave way for better coordination among stakeholders and strengthen Ayush Health Wellness centers (AHWCs) functioning.
During the conclave, subject experts from participating states will deliberate on various aspects of National Ayush Mission (NAM), focused on enhanced efficiency in budget absorption under NAM and institutionalisation for improvised execution of the scheme, enabling better supply of medicines to Ayush Health Facilities, capacity building for Ayush and up-gradation of Ayush Health Wellness centers (AHWCs), strengthening the education ecosystem in Ayush to strengthen Public Health and technological integration for research and quality assurance in Ayush public healthcare.
