Regency Health has announced the launch of Kanpur’s largest private hospital, taking its total capacity in the state to over 1,400 beds across 9 healthcare facilities in major cities of Uttar Pradesh.
The latest cutting-edge facility, spanning approximately 4 lakh sq. ft. and adding 475 beds, takes the total capacity of Regency’s Sarvodaya Nagar complex to 775 beds, making it among the largest healthcare facilities in the state.
Unveiling the new facility, Dr Atul Kapoor, Chairman & Managing Director, Regency Health, said, "It gives us an opportunity to create a stronger platform for doctors and healthcare professionals, enabling those who have been practising in other cities to return and build their practice in their hometown, with access to advanced technology, infrastructure and specialised clinical capabilities comparable to those available in leading metros.”
Speaking at the press conference, Abhishek Kapoor, CEO, Regency Health, said, “The integrated healthcare complex will house some of Kanpur’s most advanced capabilities, including the Da Vinci X Robotic Surgical System, Kanpur’s most advanced DSA Lab for Neuro Intervention, LINAC Halcyon radiotherapy, Gamma Camera and 3 Tesla MRI. Together with our expanded infrastructure, modular operation theatres and critical care capacity, these capabilities will enable us to deliver more specialised and complex treatments under one integrated healthcare ecosystem.”
The new facility adds 9 advanced modular operation theatres and more than 110 ICU beds to Regency Health Kanpur’s existing infrastructure. The overall healthcare complex will now have a combined capacity of 775 beds, 18 advanced modular operation theatres and more than 200 ICU beds. Spread across three towers, the integrated healthcare complex spans approximately 8 lakh sq. ft.
The expanded facility will bring together 200+ specialists trained across India and around the world and 33+ specialities, including Cardiac Sciences, Oncology, Neurosciences, Renal Sciences, Gastro Sciences and Critical Care. This breadth of expertise will enable the facility to address a wider range of specialised medical needs through coordinated clinical care.
