The award ceremony was inaugurated by Health Minister of Goa, Vishwajit Rane
On the occasion of Late R S Gadgil's 75th birth anniversary, a two-day virtual award marathon event- RSG Wisdom and Excellence Awards Ceremony was organised by Truwellth & Energya, a division of RSG Nutrition and Healthcare, on June 20th and 21st, 2021. The award ceremony was inaugurated by Health Minister of Goa, Vishwajit Rane.
Vishwajit Rane in his inaugural speech thanked all the members of the panel and paid respect to Late R S Gadgil's 75th birth anniversary, he said, “It is very important to encourage people to come forward where we are open to ideas. On this occasion where the award ceremony is initiated, I wish u all the best.”
He added, “I am passionate about healthcare and want to do something different for patients. In Goa we have got the finest district hospitals and finest healthcare sector.”
During the award ceremony, MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications, publication firm of BioSpectrum, received the RS Gadgil’s memorial award, for ‘Integrating media with science & technology to enable knowledge sharing & business’. The award presented by Dr Nanasaheb Chaudhary, MS, FRCS (Eng), FRCS (Edinburgh) was received by Dr Milind Kokje, Chief Editor, BioSpectrum on behalf of MM Activ Sci-Tech Communication.
“The quality of your publication, the contents, the intention, and the follow up of people is good and you are carrying out good work. You are not just a part of health workers but are also spreading knowledge from agriculture and other sectors so I have great pleasure in awarding you RS Gadgil Memorial Awards,” said Dr Nanasaheb Chaudhary.
Speaking on behalf of MM Activ, Dr Milind Kokje said, “This award you have given to MM Activ is a right thing because our company is really involved in propagating science technology through events and through media so I am really thankful to you for giving this award to us and accept the award on behalf of MM Activ Sci-Tech Communication team. As it is the team that works, the leader only receives the award on behalf of the team. My role is to write an editorial but there is a team that takes care of interviews, news, articles, cover stories, and doing a lot many things and that is how only we come out of this 48-page communication every month. I am lucky that I got a really good team so on behalf of that entire team I accept this award.”
