Collaboration brings comprehensive genomic profiling into the Institute’s own laboratory

4baseCare, a leading precision oncology company in Bengaluru, has partnered with Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai, to expand access to advanced genomic testing for cancer patients.

The collaboration brings together the Institute’s patient-centric cancer care ecosystem with 4baseCare’s expertise in comprehensive genomic profiling and precision oncology. It is focused on enabling patients to access advanced molecular testing closer to where they receive care, with accessibility and affordability at the centre of the initiative.

This marks 4baseCare’s first laboratory collaboration with a cancer centre in Chennai, further strengthening its growing network of collaborative laboratories and healthcare institutions across India.

Genomic profiling provides deeper insight into the molecular characteristics of a patient’s tumour, helping oncologists identify relevant genomic alterations that may inform treatment strategies, including targeted therapies and clinical trial opportunities where appropriate.

“Precision oncology can have its greatest impact when advanced genomic testing is accessible to the patients who need it. Our collaboration with Cancer Institute (WIA) is an important step towards making comprehensive genomic testing more accessible and affordable, particularly for patients in Chennai and the wider region,” said Hitesh Goswami, Co-Founder and CEO, 4baseCare.
