The second wave of COVID-19 continues to spread like wildfire in India. Experts have estimated that the second wave of COVID-19, or the massive surge in the number of infections, is likely to see a sharp increase from mid-April until May 2021. Standing by its commitment to supporting the healthcare industry, MediBuddy is strengthening its services and infrastructure to support and contribute its bit to tackle the spike of coronavirus cases in India. 

To ease difficulties and aid India in its battle against coronavirus, MediBuddy has enabled a COVID-19 hospital bed availability checker on their app to locate available beds hassle-free. The feature provides complete details regarding the availability of beds in real-time at nearby hospitals for anybody infected by COVID-19.

Additionally, with the rise in cases, it has become extremely important be able to connect with medical experts on the go and get credible information and diagnosis. To ensure quick access to doctors, MediBuddy has also launched a 24*7 helpline support (08047193456), where coronavirus related consultation is provided free of cost with 30 minutes to all.

The healthcare platform has also made provision for patients to book COVID-19 tests with both - at home and onsite testing options available. They have also launched a coronavirus risk assessment tool that helps MediBuddy users to assess the level of possibility and risk of them being affected by the virus.
