Taconic, Life Technologies partner to strengthen presence in India, Middle East

Taconic Biosciences, a leading provider of genetically modified solutions to researchers worldwide, announced its partnership with Life Technologies (India) to provide Taconic mouse models and services to researchers in India and the Middle East

"With nearly a decade of experience providing murine models to academic, commercial and government customers, Life Technologies is the trusted brand with scientists in the Region, making them an ideal partner for Taconic."

Under the agreement, Life Technologies will provide the full portfolio of Taconic rodent models, both traditional and genetically modified, in India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

"The market in India in particular is expected to grow significantly through 2018, and Taconic's expanded presence in the region will help to meet this growing demand for access to quality rodent models for biomedical research," Mr DelliSanti noted.
