Sanofi files for Hart-Scott-Rodino notification regarding proposed acquisition of Medivation

Sanofi announced that it has filed for premerger notification under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 (HSR) with the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission regarding its intention to acquire Medivation.

As announced on April 28, 2016, Sanofi proposed to acquire Medivation for $52.50 per share, representing an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $9.3 billion.
