Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has been awarded the Civic Award 2014 for Social Development by the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The award was presented to the company for its exemplary initiatives in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through which the company has positively impacted over 600,000 lives till date.
Glenmark Foundation, the company's CSR arm has been implementing several projects for the benefit of the less privileged sections of the society under three core areas: Child Health, Sustainable Livelihood, and Employee Volunteering.

It acknowledges Glenmark' s contribution in impacting over 600,000 lives through our initiatives in Child Health, Sustainable Livelihood, providing access to healthcare through medicine donation, and global employee volunteering programs. The Civic Awards are presented by the BCCI every year to publicly acknowledge and honor notable achievements undertaken by corporate organizations to improve their environmental, social, and cultural metrics by way of services to the community in addition to outstanding operational performance.
