Oxford Instruments launches a new service center

The center called OiService will provide support services for all of Oxford's products in India

The company has announced the launch of a new local analytical instrumentation support service, which will be based out of Mumbai.

Speaking during the inaguration of the services, Mr David Scott, group director, Emerging Markets, said "The OiService mission is to allow our customers to concentrate on their own business objectives safe in the knowledge that we are always there to provide full support. The wide range of offerings provided by OiService will enable our customers to increase uptime and reduce cost of ownership."

The facility will be staffed with qualified technical engineers. It will also have a service workshop; a genuine spare parts warehouse; Instrument Re-calibration and certification services and a tailored service.

Mr Anurag Tandon, managing director, Oxford Instruments India, said "Our goal is to provide our customers with faultless service and swift expert maintenance on our products to ensure they perform to their highest capabilities."
