Analytica Anacon India 2013, the 7th International trade fair and conference for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics will be conducted from November 12-14, 2013 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai, India. The biennial event is a spin-off exhibition of the world's leading trade fair Analytica in Munich and was first conducted in the year 2003. The event is jointly organized by Messe Munchen International (MMI) and Indian Analytical Instruments Association (IAIA).
Analytica Anacon India will attract visitors from various domains like, Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Petrochemical, Healthcare, Food, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Medical Laboratory, Medicine, Universities, research Institutes and more. With the attendance of major international and domestic leaders in the sector of analytical instruments, the event promises to showcase innovative and high quality equipments. K V Venugopalan, president, IAIA, said, "The Indian Analytical instrument market including consumable and spares is estimated at around $1billion with a growth rate of above 10%. This along with the rising demand and developments in food safety and pharmaceuticals production will help the industry to grow at a steady pace. There is a high dependence on import of technologies for research and at times they are not easily available for various commercial or legal reasons.
